Development and characterization of mAbs against murine MMP9, MMP13, urokinase plasminogen activator (uPA) and uPA receptor (uPAR).In vivo effect of inhibitory mAbs on different tissue remodelling processes in mice, including both normal physiological and pathological conditions.Development and characterization of mAbs against cleaved forms of human uPAR. Prognostic impact of uPAR forms in different cancer forms. Diagnostic and/or predictive value of cleaved uPAR forms in different types of cancer.The mechanisms of cleavage and shedding of uPAR.

Dr. Ib Jarle Christensen has a permanent position at the Finsen Laboratory as Senior Statistician involved in both clinical and animal studies.

Dr. Ida Katrine Lund has a post.doc. position funded by H:S Copenhagen Hospital Corporation and Lundbeck Foundation. Generation and characterization of murine mAbs. Research within tissue remodelling processes in mice, by use of gene targeting and administration of the specific murine mAbs directed against selected proteases.

Charlotte Almasi is an M.D. and a Ph.D. student funded by the MCRS Ph.D. school. Prognostic impact of different forms of the uPAR in lung and prostate cancer.

Morten Grønbech Rasch is cand.scient.and supported by the FP6 Cancerdegradome project. Development and characterization murine mAbs against the murine form of uPAR (muPAR) and murine MMP9. Functional studies both in vitro and in vivo with inhibitory mAbs. Cellular localization of uPAR forms.

Tine T. Sørensen is a master student (Stud.scient.) Her project involves development and characterization of monoclonal antibodies against cleaved forms of the human urokinase receptor (uPAR) and design of immunoassay for measurement in patient material.

Dr. Helle Pappot is an M.D., D.M.Sc. and a consultant at Rigshospitalet. She is an expert in lung cancer.
