Award hattrick!

The Finsen Laboratory received all three poster awards at the Danish Cancer Society Symposium: “Cancer Invasion: Mechanisms and Therapeutic Options”.

This year’s Symposium hosted by Danish Cancer Society was held from the 21. – 23. June in Copenhagen, and the Symposium Poster Award Committee consisted of Arthur Frankel, USA and Janine Erler, UK.

The 1.st place went to Ida K. Lund for the poster: “Antibody-mediated targeting of the uPA proteolytic activity neutralizes uPA functions in vivo.”
2. end place went to Henrik Gårdsvoll for the poster: “Structure-based engineering of species selectivity in the interaction between urokinase and its receptor: Implication for preclinical cancer therapy. “ and Tine T. Sørensen took the 3.th place with the poster: “A new assay for the measurement of the liberated domain I of the urokinase receptor in plasma improves the prediction of survival in colorectal cancer.”
