New webpage!
Finsen Laboratory introduces a new and modern website in April 2008. The website is updated with the most recent advances within cancer research, a complete publication list and news about EU projects, courses and symposia.
"With this new graphic identity and website our online communication finally resembles the scientific results we produce in the lab" says Leif R. Lund, Deputy Head of Finsen Laboratory.
"This provides new possibilities for external communication and for raising awareness about cancer research. In addition the website provides a channel by which we can reach other researchers, collaborating partners as well as students to our courses, symposia and lectures" says Research Coordinator, Tove Østergaard.
Finsen Laboratory (former Finseninstituttet) was founded in 1896 by Niels R. Finsen. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1903. The Finsen Laboratory is now located in Copenhagen Biocenter and currently employes almost 50 people dedicated to cancer research..
