Hematopoietic stem cell biology and leukemia.

Current Project
To investigate the role of alternative splicing in normal and malignant hematopoiesis and to identify genes and alternative isoforms especially important for hematopoietic stem cell function.

2006-2011 PhD studies at Lund Stem Cell Center, Lund University, Sweden. PhD degree obtained September 9, 2011.
Title of thesis: The Hypoxic Hematopoietic Stem Cell Niche – Consequences of Hypoxia-induced Transcription on Stem Cell Fate.
2001-2005 Biomedicine program, Lund University, Sweden. MSc degree in Medical science obtained June 5, 2005.
