About Finsen Laboratory
The Finsen Laboratory is a cancer research department at the Finsen Centre at Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen University Hospital.
The Finsen Laboratory is located in the Copenhagen Biocenter in close proximity to other research institutions such as BRIC, the Department of Biology, University of Copenhagen and The Bartholin Institute. We work in close collaboration with BRIC
The laboratory consists of 6 research groups, primarily working with understanding different aspects of cancer.
We employ about 60 people dedicated to cancer research. Currently the staff at Finsen Laboratory consists of 40 scientific employees, 8 laboratory technicians, 1 research coordinator, 1 office assistant and a varying number of master students and student assistents.
The laboratory is headed by Professor, PhD Bo Porse.
